Jiwan Lee   (she/her)

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University's Population Studies and Training Center (PSTC). I received my Ph.D. in Social Welfare Policy from Columbia University. My research focuses on the role of social safety net policies in shaping the health and economic well-being of families and children, particularly Paid Family Leave, the Child Tax Credit, the Earned Income Tax Credit, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Leveraging quasi-experimental research designs, I examine the effectiveness of these policies in promoting economic security and reducing socioeconomic and racial/ethnic disparities.
